• The Pre-Purchase workshop is designed to provide prospective home buyers with a comprehensive understanding of the home purchase process.

• Some of the topics to be covered in the workshop will include:  the importance of your credit history; the mortgage process; affordability; getting pre-approved; the relationship with a realtor/real estate agent; making an offer; understanding the agreement of sale; home inspections; homeowner’s insurance; grants and financial assistance; closing the loan; pros and cons of homeownership; 203K Mortgages (Purchase / Refinancing and  Renovation Financing in one Mortgage)  &  Energy Efficient Mortgages  (Purchase/Refinance which includes additions and/or improvements that make the home more energy efficient and thereby reducing overall utility costs)​
